Maujer Courtyard

Located in the Williamsburg neighborhood of Brooklyn, this 12,000 square foot permeable courtyard garden was created on a previously existing parking lot.  The vegetated courtyard is able to detain all of the stormwater that falls within the tributary area. The garden design and planting palette were developed with native pollinators in mind, and the separate planting beds offer a unique feel of forest islands within the urban environment.
